On tap at EBF 08. Black, no real head. Some liquorice on aroma. It’s a liquoricey impy stout. Again a little watery in body. Not wonderful, but again, not terrible either. It is incredibly English in its flavours. Really good liquorice.

On draught at the Brewpub Kopenhaven 12-09-08.Pours black with light beige head. Bitter and roasty chewy some hazlenut, plenty of body, very tasty actually. I thought the Amarillo was the best maybe I liked this just the same.

Draught Black beer, red highlights, with small, but resistant dark-beige head. Turkish coffee, coffeeconcentrate, some dry cocoapowder. But mosty coffee-moccha. Coffee again in the mouth, lightly sweetned and even a very small shot of coffeemilk. And alcohol, mind you. Irish coffee? Full bodied, very viscous. Quite good Imperial Stout.

Very dark ruby color, steady creamy tan-beige head. Milk stout-oatmeal stout-sweetish, lactose, roasted malty aroma. Very soft and silky palate. Roasted malty base, some cigar and lots of coffee, a bit milk in it too. Silky stout.

Cask at the brewpub. Really black, no head. Aroma of tar and licorice. Medium sweet with very solid malt. Richly hoppy with some asphalt, chocolate and tobacco. Soft and richly malty. Good and warming.

(Cask at Brewpub Köbenhavn, 26 July 2008) Black colour with foamy, brief, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of strong black coffee, liquorice and a hint of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with sweet and strong coffee, dark chocolate, lots of salty liquorice and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Nicely balanced, but rather sweet. Almost full body. Very nice beer.
