Frydenlund Draft Beer is a somewhat dark pilsener brewed on the original recipe and with Frydenlund's unique yeast. The aroma is mild with balanced notes of straw, hay and freshly backed bread. Frydenlund Draft Beer is medium-bodied with a malty taste that is well-balanced against the moderate hoppy bitterness.

33cl can from Meny Bjølsen, Oslo. Pours pale golden with a small, white head. Fairly grainy aroma with some hints of honey, fruits and hops. Moderate sweet with mild flavours and a very light bitterness. Aroma: Malt, slightly sweet?
Taste: Malt, slight sweetness. Grains. Standard.

From can. Dark golden. White, uneven head that quickly disappears. Not much lacing. Sweet aroma with cardboard. Malt sweetness in taste with some bitterness and artificial sweetness in aftertaste. Standard Eurolager.

Gul farge med hvitt skum. Lukter malt og noe metallisk. Smaker som all annen butikk øl/lager. Lettdrikkelig, medium kullsyre. Lite eller ingen bitterhet i ettersmak.

Lys brun med høyt hvitt skum. Mineralsk og maltlukt. Medium søt, medium kullsyre og bitterhet. Mer smak enn de fleste andre pale lager jeg har smakt.

Et godt fatøl. Friskt på smak med et tynt sittende skum. Liten smak av bitterhet. Totalt sett et friskt og godt standard øl.

Golden colour with a white head. Moderat sweet malt aroma with light fruity notes. Flavour are about the same. Moderate malty, hoppy and light fruity.

Fatøl på boks - en markedsføringsgimmick på linje med levende torsk i skiver. Grei nok tørsteslukker, men ikke mye mer. Har allikevel en friskere syrlighet enn Tuborg og Hansa som jeg hadde i går, antakelig en bedre humle. Middels munnfylde og ettersmaken er faktisk ikke så verst den heller.
