"No.. no... no... hit that block for the mushroom," are words we grew up while navigating our favorite plumper across the screen. Well, now we have the beer to level up with. This mushroom porter that was a collaboration with Miller Mushrooms and is a delicious interpretation of the style. The mushrooms add a nice earthiness without drowning out the roasted malt sweetness porters are known for.

From a 3$ can at vintage it pours big and black with a foaming creamy choco moose head. This stuff is supposedly brewed with mushrooms in it. Nose is sweet boozy malt porter. Taste is sweet porter as well, not really getting the mushrooms in this. Yea, in the end, boozy sweet and cloying but OK for a higher ABV porter. Fine co2 throughout.

very dark brown with a medium sized foamy beige head. Dry, roasty, woody and earthy with a coffee note. Medium finish and body.
