Oatmeal Pale

Refreshing pale ale with loads of hops - Australian brewers continue to get closer to their American counterparts in that regard. The aroma includes grapefruit and stone fruit. There is a slight aftertaste that could be oatmeal but I wouldn’t have known if they hadn’t told me. 750ml bottle from Tru Brew 17 Jan 15, have a squealer of it from Prince Wine Store. I am noticing the oatmeal flavour in the aroma much more this time, to the point where I want to put a peg on my nose. I would rate the aroma far differently (from 8 down to 4) if I was editing my final number but I’ll let the original taste stand (interestingly I’m using a new beer glass specifically designed, they say, for pale ales. I wonder if that’s why I’m noticing the oatmeal more.
