Hazy orange yellow color with medium white head. Aroma of malt vinegar and sour grapes. Flavor of banana, citrus and bready yeast. Slightly weak bodied, acceptable for the style. Interesting, but not exceptional. Stick to the others of the range.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy golden with floating impurities and a dense white head. Unpleasant sewer-like aroma. Medium body, sweet and tart with a weird phenollic tang - fairly extreme. Dry hoppy finish. This is simply not very pleasant. 111009

Bottle (sent by Yogi_Beera !): Hazy, deep golden to light amber coloured, small, quite stable off-white lacing head; spicy, sweet fruity nose (lemons, oranges, orange-peel) with a wheaty touch; sweet flavour, a bit sourish, robust "medium-sized body"; sweet-fruity, a bit warming finsh. A weel rounded, moreish one - maybe a little bit too much of "beet-suiker" ;-) !

I asked for this at the 3 Fonteinen restaurant and was told, that it was sold out, but fortunately for me Armand Debelder was on site, so he retrieved it for me somewhere - thanks.
A hazy orange beer with a nice orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of yeast and malt. The flavor is very sweet and again with strong notes of both yeast and malt, leading to a dry end that also has some light notes of grass. A solid Belgian Strong Ale.

Test vom 24.4.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,12,13,8,12

Bottle, courtesy of my favorite secret santa :-)
Hazy amber, low foamy tanned head. Slightly tart green mossy and peachy aroma. Fairly bubbly yet dry mouthfeel - improves quite a bit by beating the carbonation out. Fruit (peach) base, tart yeasty minerally edges. Light on the middle, very dry finish. Light peach/apricot aftertaste.
