Hazed golden color with a fast vanishing head. Rare and not to inviting aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Moderate sweet and moderate bitterness. Caramel malty, fruity, herbal and some cardboard in the flavor. Not to inviting this one.

33 cl bottle purchased at the brewery. Slightly hazy golden colour with a few white bubbles on top. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, thyme and spicy notes. Wheat malts. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a flat carbonation. Finishes sweet with spicy notes and caramel malts. Odd and rather unbalanced.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and bread, with touches of dia and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced estery notes and touches of malt and citrus. Slightly spicy and acetic afteraste. Thin to medium body. Estery belches. Tastes better than it smells but still very far from a decent specimen of the style.

Hazy amber color. This wheat doesn’t really taste like a wheat. Somewhat sour, with butterscotch and caramel. Maybe something’s wrong with my bottle.

Bottled (thanks Anna!). Deep orangeish amber colour with a off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild wheat and spices. Flavour is toffee, some caramel, mild wheat, some slight toasted notes as well a some mild bitter notes to it. Not the very typical witbier...

330 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 5.7%. Brewed with thyme (not coriander). Hazy deep golden colour, low white head. Unfresh and unpleasant aroma, notes of wet cardboard, maize, over-cooked vegetables and stale pond water. The flavour is strange and alcoholic, with grainy and metallic notes, hints of thyme, the orange peel is hardly noticeable. Remarkably bad.
