Small white head quickly disappears. Amber body. Light fruity caramel aroma with perfume notes. Sweetish-dry roasty caramel and fruit taste with notes of roasted almonds. Dry, roasty wooden aftertaste, Very nice. Not very Belgian, but good. (0.5l bottle.)

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sour apples and some slight hoppiness. Flavour is caramel hop and kind of sugary. Some slight hints of berries and other fruits too. Pleasant one, but the name as Blonde is confusing.

Thanks Doggythedog for sharing this with me.
Bottled(500ml). –Slight hazy orange/golden coloured, small beige head, honey schnapps style alcohol. Fruity and slight malty aroma with notes of honey. Dry short finish. Simple and nice- looking label.

Lovely 0.5l bottle (4/12) courtesy of Papsoe (thanks!), shared with ozujsko. Not really fresh (bb 30.03.2006), but I can’t complain, bottle conditioned (from what I could tell), and didn’t feel old (much). Poured an opaque body, light brown colour, medium sized and thick white-going-beige head. The nose was... interesting... propolis, some malt and a touch of what ozujsko claimed to be schnapps style alcohol (agreed). The taste was interesting. Malty, propolis again, some fruitiness, and some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste... a bit tired, but not much. It’s ok, but not more than that.

Bottled. Golden with nice, dense off-white head. Nice lacings too. Mild, malty and fruity aroma. It’s an ok beer, but too mild, even though it’s mostly fruity hoppiness in the flavor. Could use some more depth to it. Light sweet and bitter finish. (060115)

(Bottle 50 cl) The brewery claims this to be a "Belgian Blonde" - but colourwise this is much closer to an "Amber" and if you pour the sediment it resembles more a "Dubbel". Very dry, fresh and fruity in the aroma. The flavours have an indefineable note of fruit drops making this odd and inharmonious. I suspect this may have been a bad bottle. Could need a re-rate. 060704

God men ikke fremragende øl. Forbavsende meget citrus i duft og smag. Bitter eftersmag, meget flot gylden farve, men lidt for "fizzy".
