Bottle @ Home. Pours dark amber with a small light tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, yeast, bread, some raisins, dusty, alcohol, slight buttery notes. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, brown sugar, bready, alcohol. Medium body, lively carbonation, light warming alcohol. 210415

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body with light carbonation. Fruity perfumy aroma with raisiny papery notes. Dry-sweet papery earthy alcoholic taste with plum and chocolate notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dryish-sweet cocos and raisins aftertaste with spicy fruity chocolate notes. Interesting, but flawed in several ways. Dark orange colour, thick and disappearing head. Aroma is sweet with berries and some solvent-like alcohol. Flavour is typical to bock with sweet malt and hints of spices. Toffee in the finish. Palate is too high on CO2. Not good.

Clear amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour was sweet and malty with caramel and breadish notes. Towards the finish hops kicked in.
