Light unclear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, orange. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. On tap at Århus Ølfestival. Pours a clear, golden body. Sweetish nose with caramel and malt, some hops and a little citrus. The flavor is much the same, and finishes quite citrusy with a nice bitterness. Full to medium body. A quaffable beer with a nice hop profile. (080516)

Draft. A deep red beer with a slight haze under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of fruit and berries - especially strawberries. The falvor is very sweet with notes of malt, caramel and strong notes of strawberries, as well as a light touch of yeast, leading to a dry bitter finish where the strawberry note lingers.

Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A hazy amber beer with a thin cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty with ntoes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter and wheaty finish.

From tap at Lord Nelson. Pours clear and deep golden amber with a minimal lacing white head. Mild malt aroma. Initially a brief fruity note which quickly goes into a flavour that holds a dry bitter and malt with a mild spice note. Goes into a spiced and breadish dry finish. Light yeasty note too. Not a classic altbier as such but a good one :)

Århus2008. From tap. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Light fruity (berries, citrusy and hops) aroma. Flavour is mild fruity and with a classic sweet caramel malt base. Light hoppy fruity finish with a mild bitterness. Ends in a mix of dry hops and sweet malt.

Dark amber with large off white head. Sweet fruity with roasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Ends bitter.

Amber with a lasting, creamy off-white head. Aroma has grainy malt and oranges. Sweet and malty flavour.

Sample at Aarhus beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops, citrus with a bitter finish.

Draught at Aarhus Festival. Creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor and finish. Oily palate. Boring.
