Vores svendeøl er brygget og navngivet med udgangspunkt i en af de øl, man fandt i optegnelserne for øl beholdningen på Øm kloster. Her stod det angivet, at klosteret rådede over 20 tønder svendeøl.

Bottled. Hazy deep goldeny orange colour with small beige head. Aroma is bigtime anis, wood, some sweet malts as well as mild spicy notes. Flavour is bigtime liquorice (something the anis mixes in with to get to liquoricelike stuff), spices, sweet malts, quite much fruityness Usually I don’t like anis in my beer, but in this one the brewers have managed to mix it in quite well.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, caramel, and light notes of spices. The flavor is sweet malty combined with light notes of plastic. Thanks yespr.

Hazy, orange body with a thin white head. Smell of spicy fruits. Ripe fruits in flavour with hints of anise. Dry acidity to the aftertaste. Soft in the mouth (Draught, EBF, 14.09.2008).

Had this at European Beer festival 13-09-08 Pours a hazy golden amber, quite soft in the mouth. Some anise on the nose, tasty but leafy in the mouth, not bad.

Bottled. Hazy pale amber, rich firm head. Rich cardamom aroma. Sweet and soft, medium bodied with flavour of bun dough. Light minerally bitterness. Pretty good, but not really a bock.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Spicy and somewhat licorice-like aroma. Medium-bodied with some fruit and again some licorice notes. The finish is dry. Not bad but very far from a classic Heller Bock. 190608
