Bottled (found in the back of the cellar, from somewhere, during my car trip to CPH, Ulfborg and others). Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown foamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, some toffee, coffee and mild berries to it. Flavour is coffee, toast, some roasted notes with mild toffee as well as some berries and mild yeasty spiciness to it. Mellow bitterness.

Near-black body with a moderate tan head. Roasted malty to the nose. Smoked coffee malts added by weak hints of dark berries and some herbal notes beneath. Oily hops to the ending. Good stout (CBF, 16.05.2009).

Draft @ Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a fruity malty slightly spicy aroma with some weak hints of smoke. Fruity malty dark fruit flavor with some weak hints of smoke. Has a fruity malty dark fruit finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, warm dark brown with a warm redish hue and an off-white head. Hard roasted malt aroma, with some leathery Brett accents. Full-bodied, dry hard roasted maltiness and a whiff of smoke. Astringent, leathery finish with some malt bitterness. I’m not too sure the Brett accents are intended ind this completely fresh bottle, but they add a most magnificent touch. 170509

On tap at Århus Ølfestival. Served with a nice, dense beige head over a dark, amber to brown body. Quite disappointing and nautral aroma with roasted malt and some sourness. Quite sour and fruity flavor, fruity sweetness too. Rather weak as well. Medium to thin body. Short finish with some bitterness. Boring but drinkable. Not very successful. (080516)

Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear brown beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, roasted malt, and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, nuts, and roasted malt, but also with an accent of alcohol, leading to a nutty finish.
