50 cl bottle. Rated on 02.02.2010
Rather dark and murky, some yeast patricles at the bottom. Thin and long-lasting head. Aroma is stale with glueish sweetness, some alcohol and salty licorice. Flavour has salty licorice and some vegetables typical to Danish ales. Out of balance and not good.

Bottled. Murky reddish brown colour with mediumsized beige foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is alcohol, banana, wheat, some herbs and quite wooden notes as well as some roasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same in but also has some toffee and also some mild sour fruity notes.

Dark nut brown color, small beige head. Caramel, alcohol and smoke. Toasted banana, caramel and plums. Not so wheaty-banana-like German weizenbock, but sweety and enjoyable.

Hand pump at Cockney Pub, Århus
Cloudy dark chestnut color; creamy head. It doesn’t smell very good. The positive note is a light smoke touch; there is also some sweet liquorice flavor, but it’s missing on the body side, there is a nasty flavor of eggs, and the mix is confusing.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a lacing tan head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a light wheaty-mouldy note. Flavour has a distinct sweet alchol driven wheat flavour, dense/solid towards full bodied. Classic Wintercoat smoked note appearing after this and into the finish. Nice initially but goes cloying on a full bottle (which I couldn’t complete).
