Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, golden beer with microfloaties and a white head. White sugar, hops, citruspeel and qyute a lot of fruityness in the aroma. Flavorwise the citrus peel seems to dominate, with white sugar, bitterness and some alcohol filling in the blanks. Dry and a bit warming in the mouth. Bitter finish.A quite nice beer, not über-complex, but nice. 090724

On tap at the mad mex. Looks like a pale american lager with a thin creamy head. Smells like a trippel, sweet and strong. No visible carbonation. Nice lacing on the inside of the glass. Creamy palate tho there is no real carbonation. Certainly belgie in nature but not as refined as the belgie counterparts. A little cloying at times on the back of the throat. OK for an american made trippel effort. Strong finish.

Bottled. Almost clear golden, minimal head. Fruity glue aroma. Sweet and papery with medium body. Flavour of orange, wheat malt and glue, together with canned pineapple in syrup. Some late bitterness. A bold and cardboardy, rather lifeless tripel.

RBESG08 grand tasting Brewed by Saratoga. Very murky honey orange body. White head that went away a bit fast. Slightly fizzy. Pleasant sweetish malty nose, bit agrumey (orange). Good Tripel nose. Nice malty, persistently honeyish taste, lightly sourish, slightly lemony. Soft yeastiness. Orange again. Bit bready. Malty aftertaste. Mellow, tasty tripel.
