Bottle 66cl @ home.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate hoppy, citrus - lemon, spicy, moderate yeasty, sharp. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Very crisp and sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (140508)

Clear golden with a relatively small white head. Aroma is rather malty for a tripel, like white bread crust. But also great yeast and spice aroma with cinnamon, coriander, vanilla and cardemum, pineapple and oranges - actually so much cinnamon and coriander that I wonder if it’s added, and either way, it’s too much and has to hurt the score. Sweet, but carries the sweetness alright with some alcohol and perhaps even hops to counter. There is a slightly harsh "old yeast" feel to the finish - and cinnamon and coriander.

Bomber with a crown cap. Gone are the days. Light Belgian spice, pale stone fruit and slight caramel aromas. Hazy orange gold color with a white head that didn’t last. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Lots of fruit, clove, pepper, light malt, and arguably some hop. This is just a very pleasant drink. The finish is tending towards dry, but there is still fruit and spice. Really, really good ale.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Light spiced yeasty aroma, mild sweet caramel malt note. Flavour starts with a sweet caramel, goes into a light mellow yeasty note. Light bubblegum note towards rubber. Ends with a dry and light spiced finish. I do seem to sense some hops along the way, but quite subdued.

6FL.OZ Bottle@VinensVerden,Odense. Pours cloudy yellow with a off white head. Aroma is sweet of yeast, wheat, spices & fruits. Sweet (nearly vinous) yeasty taste with a herbal & metallic note. Very sweet for a triple. Alcohol well hidden. Fine palate & mouthfeel. Very tasty American Triple!

Bottle courtesy of Bu11zeye: Poured a lightly hazy golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with some good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of spicy yeast with some nice fruity ester and some medium sweet malt. Taste is a nice enough mix between some spicy yeast and fruity ester with some well balance medium sweet Belgian malt. Body is average for the style with some good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very refreshing and well crafted.

22oz bomber. I drank almost half of this out of a Delirium Tremens snifter, the half was a light golden-orange color that was pretty much transparent. The second half had all the yeasty goodness that had settled out in it and made it more of a cloudy orange color. Well, this beer is completely good and fine, but isn’t really on par with almost any actual Belgian Tripels, and it isn’t exactly a standout among American triples either. It is a pleasant pairing with food, but the alcohol really comes through rather intense for a beer of 8%....maybe it’s the candi sugar. Hmmm..second half really has more yeasty subtleties, at least the bottle’s price is reasonable. Worth trying.

A tall but fleeting white head tops this hazy gold brew. Some coarse lacing. Vinous, decaying citrus aroma. Sweet and citrusy with a some spice. Fruity and light.

750 ml bottle shared by Gregis at the csbosox tasting on 3/7/08. Pour is slightly hazed golden-yellow with a smallish white head. Aroma of nice soft sweetness. The sweetness is definitely fruit sweetness, somewhere between banana and pineapple. Pretty much a spot on Tripel nose. Taste is sweet, grassy, dry and a little but boozy. Taste was also pretty much spot on Tripel. Another well made beer from Southampton. Thanks for sharing Greg.

(Bottle - bomber, thanks Marsiblursi!) Sampled on February 16 - 2008. Shady golden color, white head. Grainy, malty and alcohol scent, also toffee. Acidic, metallic, malty, grainy, sweet and alcohol taste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterenss.
