This new beer is golden, with a subtle red hue. Its biscuit and caramel notes combine with a burst of tropical fruit from the hops, with the addition of cherries delivering a gentle tartness and subtle sweetness, leading to a crisp, clean finish.

Beer Number 8 at the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2025, leaving 20 of 30 still untried. Clear, nice looking, with its cherry prominent in both aroma and taste. Easy strength but certainly not thin.

Cask at Briar Rose, Birmingham. Pours golden amber with minimal off-white head and excellent lacing. Cherries are prominent (but not overwhelming) in the aroma with malts also there. Pretty much the same in the mouth where it is quite sweet but with some underlying tartness from the cherries. Hints of biscuits, oranges and nuts as well. A little bitterness in the finish. This is rather nice – the cherries compliment and don’t dominate.
