A stout like no other. The antithesis of bitter Irish stouts, this is creamy, smooth with underlying chocolate notes imparted by generous amounts of roasted malts and oats. Pours with a dark body and ivory head. It’s a tall, dark handsome pint.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Black color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate and licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (030508)
