Cask (gravity) at Last Heretic, Burton on Trent. Pours almost black with minimal off-white head. Aroma is mainly liquorice. Mouthfeel has a sticky texture, with flavours of humbugs, liquorice, roasted malts. A touch of dark fruits and plenty of alcoholic strength too. Finish is boozy - with a warm glow in the stomach ! Sip this one slowly โ itโs dangerously drinkable !
