Our friends at Totopia Brewing in Nagakute are making some of the most flavourful, accomplished hop-forward beers in Japan. Our first collab together is a juicy celebration of the finest Cashmere, Citra and Nelson Sauvin we could lay our hands on for flavours of melon, tangerine and pine, with secondary notes of strawberry and coconut. Believe it!

440ml can from Left Field Beer and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy, stone fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a somewhat rich, big stone fruits, light herbal, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. I enjoyed this. A nice mix of flavours and without excessive carbonation which makes for a more sessionable beer.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin malts, but the right amount of sweetness for this brew. Soft pine, very slightly sweet. Soft melon, nice. Very soft citrus. Mild mandarin. Airy finish. A soft but elegant IPA, very drinkable.
