500 ml can. Crystal clear pale golden colour, large and lasting head. Sweetish aroma, notes of boiled vegetables and candy. Some sugary sweetness in the flavour too. Minimal hops. Not undrinkable, but nothing to write home about.

It’s a paradox, really, but is has been impossible to get this beer on tap in Tromsø - strange for a beer named Fatøl. So I had to stick to a couple of 500ml cans for rating purpose. Pours a dense, white-topped head, gradually fading. Clear, amber body. Faint aroma of wheat and grass. The taste has got hints of sweet fruit and clean malt. Medium bodied, but quite poor in flavour. Refreshing at the verandah on a sunny July afternoon in the Arctic (13.07.2007).

Can 0,5l. Golden coloured. A huge white creamy head when poured from a distance. The head settles in a couple of minutes. Not much aroma, but you can spot some fruityness in the flavor. Nutty aftertaste with some sweet bitterness.
