A traditional Bristol Porter with a Wiper and True touch. Aged on blackberries and blackcurrants and hopped with the Bramling Cross, this has a subtle forest berry taste that complements the rich chocolate and soft roast flavours. Ready to enjoy now but will also cellar well.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham. Dark brown with a small, off-white head. Big, dense coffee and plain chocolate aroma. Lighter flavours of coffee, roastiness and a touch of dark berries, before a hoppy kick and dryish finish. Some blackberry tartness turned up in the after-taste. Excellent.
