330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, pale malty aroma with a touch of corn, plain, bitter hoppy overtones. Taste is dry, minimally floral, slightly grassy, bitter hoppy, minimally strawy, pale malty basis with a touch of corn, a minimally piney and resinous hoppy touch as well; rather plain, bitter hoppy finish of medium duration.. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Very clean, rather dry and bitter (especially for a Southern German Pils), but you find only marginally more different hop flavours in it than in the countrywide advertised mainstream Pilseners.

Mug at Edelweiss. Pours a clear, straw color, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is pine, resin, light corn syrup, and perfume. Sweet and sticky, with a mild bitterness. Mellow and fair.

12 September 2020. At Café Rohan, Ettenheim. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear pale golden with a thin, frothy, white head, fizzing away. Aroma of yeast, grain, pale malt, dried apple, straw. Taste has sweetish maltiness of apple, breadcrust & straw, a bit sour & yeasty. Dry, yeasty, grainy finish, slightly grassy hoppy. Light to medium body, slick-creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Decent.

33 cl as Fürstenberg Black Forest Pils. Light golden color, white foam. Aroma: light (Pilsen) malt, slightly floral-grassy hop with herbs. Taste: lively carbonation, sweet light malt, noticeable hop bitterness with forest herbs, easy and drinkable.

Only a slight malty aroma. Firm hopbitter flavor, somewhat grassy hopbitter aftertaste. Decent pilsener.
