Cask-conditioned at the Merchants Arms, Hotwells, Bristol 3/10/2013. Near black, with a hint of red and thin tan head. An easy drinking beer, with some vanilla and plain chocolate upfront, followed by some tangy lactose and a gentle finish with a hint of sweetness. Enjoyable.
