Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark can sugar, light coffe, notes of licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (010508)

Half pint, gravicask at the great pub The Swan, Little Totham (see places, under Essex). Dark copper with a rusty tint. Lacing-head. Smell of dark malt sweetness. Biscuit-like taste with chocolate hints. Medium bitter finish. Firm mouthfeel (in the beer garden with good friends on a sunny afternoon, 03.05.2008).

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and dark brown with a bubbly tan head. Light roasted and toffee like malt aroma. Flavour is nicely roasted malt with a subdued sweetness. Light roasted malt flavour with a light acidic touch before the finish. Mild roasted finish, nicely dry too.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, toffee, and cinnamon. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of bisquits and citrus, leading to a dry bitter finish.
