This new black beer has subtle mocha notes in both its aroma and flavour, with complex malts balanced by hop and coffee notes, resulting in a rich beer with hints of espresso, liquorice and chocolate.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Black beer lasting tan head. Well definitely chocolate flavour. Some creamy mouthfeel. Some bitterness on the finish. Chocolate. Light blackcurrant flavour. Chocolate wafer aroma and flavour. Decent.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small foamy tan head. The aroma has chocolate and roast malts. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with a creamy texture but a little underlying bitterness also. Flavour has roasted malts and coffee with traces of dark fruit and liquorice coming later. A little bitterness in the finish. This is decent.
