Das obergärige Stoutbier riecht hervorragend nach Schokolade, Kakao und Kaffeenoten. Im Glas zeigt es sich tiefschwarz mit cremiger Schaumkrone und guter Rezenz. Der Antrunk präsentiert sich leicht süßlich mit deutlichen Röstaromen. Die leicht säuerlichen Noten, die zum Vorschein kommen, bilden mit diesen ein harmonisches Zusammenspiel. Ein besonderer Genuss!

0,33l bottle at home bought from Dreizack, Vienna. BB 07.07.2025. dark brown color, small tan colored head. smells roasty, coffee, hints of acidity, caramel malts, toffee, spices. very nice smell. light body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, toffee, only lightly roasty, hints of sweetness, some toasty notes, hints of smoke. finishes roasty and sweet with notes of toffee, pepper and marzipan. nice one overall, very nice smell, was hoping for more roastiness on the taste, but its actually trending towards some sweetness / rather balanced. Good effort, I guess they had the average austrian beer drinker in mind when brewing this.
