Decent ok stout.
Clear dark color with a fine off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Ok sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Toffee, roast, some coffee and herbal flavor. A bit odd, but still ok and drinkable.

33cl bottle from Vinoble Frederikshavn. Pours dark mahogany with a beige head. Malty and bready aroma with some roasty notes, caramel and hints of chocolate and licorice. Medium sweet with fairly mild flavours and a light bitterness. Not terribly exiting, but quite drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bedstemors Stout on 20 Apr 2015 at 20:06 - Score: 6

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks fonefan for this bottle! Clear dark brown with a beige head. Vegetal aroma with roast, caramel and nutes. Vegetal flavor, sweet, sugary, with honey, a bit roasty. Light to medium-bodied. Not good.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Dark aroma of liquorice, malt and caramel. Very mild aroma of malt, liquorice, caramel and a touch of roast. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Disappointing. The flavour is just hardly there.

33 cl. bottle, poured in to a snifter. Dark brown colour with a small, tan head. Sweet aroma with roasted and chocolate malts. nuts, cardboard, yeasts, herbal hops and a hint of chocolate milk. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and a flat carbonation. Finishes sweet with roasted and chocolate malts. The cardboard notes is not pleasant, still a nice stout if you like the sweeter and milder versions.
