Our Gran Met (Grand Master) is an Ale made from our Propriatery yeast from a small brewery in Belgium. We use Cane and Beet sugar, along with German Pilsner Malt to create the unique flavor of this age old style. We also use a unique fermentation process of slowly adding the sugars to the fermentation during fermentation. This allows the yeast to more slowly ferment the beer without overloading the yeast. This process allows for a more clean, tight flavor profile.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to chalice.
Appearance: pale bronzed orange color with a quickly dissipating little white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: some Belgian yeasty spices, light grassy hops, Belgiany sugars but seems subtly like candied fruits - maybe pears or apples; light bananas, smooth malts down in there
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a semi-spicy to Belgian sort of sweet character; finishes fairly sugary and Belgian yeasty
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also some dryness
Overall: Belgian tripel? Hmmm, maybe closer to one of those Belgian golden strong ales perhaps. This isn't a bad attempt at a tripel and probably better than a lot of other American brewers at the style. I could come back to this.

355ml bottle. Barely clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy hoppy and sweet-ish, pale malty aroma, a touch of honey, sweet bread, a fruity touch of yellow stone fruit and yoghurt. Taste is sweet-ish pale malty, minimally yeasty fruity, a touch of yellow stone fruit, yoghurt, a bready and minimally spicy touch, some honey; well hidden alcohol. Very harmonoius, highly drinkable, maybe a bit mainstreamed and too simple.

Bruingeel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig met iets van rozijnen en vanille. Best goed maar geen echte tripel.

Keg at BD Soho, 27/02/18. Clear golden with a decent white head. Nose is caramel, yeast esters, grains, bready notes, candied fruit peel, light spice. Taste comprises candied fruits, Belgian yeast esters, caramel, pear drop, light farmy notes, stale bread, lemon drizzle. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a warming alcohol level. Fine as tripels go for me ... not too sweet but nothing I'd return to.
