Our Gran Met (Grand Master) is an Ale made from our Propriatery yeast from a small brewery in Belgium. We use Cane and Beet sugar, along with German Pilsner Malt to create the unique flavor of this age old style. We also use a unique fermentation process of slowly adding the sugars to the fermentation during fermentation. This allows the yeast to more slowly ferment the beer without overloading the yeast. This process allows for a more clean, tight flavor profile.

Bottle Conditioned and Refermented.

3/XII/17 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2017-2091) Thanks to the Belgian, Dutch and German ratebeerians for sharing today's beers!

Clear pale blond beer, small to no head. Aroma: very malty, all grains, cow fodder, meh. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: more grains and cow fodder, malty, bit metallic. Tastes like a German has been trying to make a low abv "Belgian Tripel" using reinheitsgebot and his own house yeast strain...

Sample at Bob's Bar during the "Columbus Voodoo Debut!" on 08/31/2017. The beer is a hazy golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of yeast, fruit, spice and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of Belgian yeast, fruit, spicy hops and caramel malt. The finish is fruity with a yeast and spice aftertaste. Decent overall.
