Copper/orange with a bubbly lasting head. Aroma is heavy sweet - malty caramel/sweetness & a bit of hops. Slight vinous feel. Sweet & sticky. ABV well hidden. Very easy drinkable barley wine. Not too complex !

Brown color. As far as it can get from a Barley Wine, it has a very strong caramel character, with a powerful bitterness and some alcohol warmth.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of BelJohansen. Clear, dark amber golden with a dense, lacing beige head. Some light aroma hops in the nose with a whiff of burned caramel. Good full body with a solid base of caramel malt. A somewhat unrefined bitterness in the finish. If some better and more distinct aroma hops were used this could have some potential. 140308

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thick tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, as well as medium notes of dusty hops. The flavor is rather sweet with a good deal of malt and alcohol, that gives it a good body and a dry finish.
