Notes of citrus, spices, caramel in the nose. Very complex. Sometimes vanilla.

Interesting, with a wheaty citrusy spiciness, a touch of a vegetal note. Plain caramel character. Yeasty.

Diminishing, off-white head. Orangish body. Moderately malty aroma with notes of citrus fruits, grain, vanilla along with spices. The flavor is slightly bitter and moderately sweet with a tart finish. Thin to medium body and watery texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. OK, but somewhat of a lightweight in the strong ale category.

Pours deep gold into a Trappist glass. Fluffy off-white conglomerate head leaves slight lacing as it slowly recedes to skim surface. Unibroue aromas. Bubbly with typical clove and pepper flavors from front to back with a slightly bitter, dry lasting finish.

Sweet malt and fruit aroma. Flavor has considerable hops and spices. Floral but I don’t get the citrus. More sweet malt in the taste. Well carbonated but an unremarkable beer. I don’t see why this is a Belgian strong ale.

750 from Ross; Best by 7/31/09 nose of caramel, coriander, spiciness, and light vanilla; Hazy dark amber with a huge off-white head that thickly laces the glass as it very slowly recedes; Flavor shows caramel, cloves, coriander, vanilla, and mild hop bitterness from the medium body, the hop bitterness lasts longer into the finish as the brew warms.

Cloudy amber color; thick head. The aroma is malty with a fruity touch. Good body structure, some malt flavor, sweet caramel, dried fruits and bitter oranges; a quite good hopping. Warming. Very good.

bottle at the Fort Wayne tasting - Pours hazy brownish orange with lots of bubbles and a large head. The aroma is yeasty with a hint of citrus fruit. Lively on the palate, the flavors include the sweet malts, yeast, and citrus notes. Nice beer.

Pour is a hazy orange with a giant white head. Aroma is sugary with some citrud ans spice. Flavor is super spicy with some banana,sugar and yeast. Kinda getting better the more i drink of it. Tasty and the finish is dry.

Ruddy orange-red body, hazy, sediment-laden body, medium buff head. Aroma of spices and caramel but with hints of rubber and band-aids too. Artificial banana flavor, with spice, pepper, and bain-aids. Bready with tart yeast esters, hints of honey, and toffee. The band-aid flavors obscure the more palatable yeast esters.
