Draught. Bit of a watery pour and consistency. Nutmeg etc and all you’d expect in a pumpkin ale.

Draught @ Malt&Mold. Hazy darkish yellow with small foamy white head, very faint pumpkin aroma, high carbonation, sweetish pumpkin taste with a bit of soapy flavor, thin body, abrupt finish with mild pumpkin aftertaste. The pumpkin flavor feels artificial.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s in a mixer sixer. Pours a hazy dark reddish orange appearance with a light brown head. The aroma is very spicy - lots of nutmeg and vanilla, some cinnamon and allspice - along with some caramel and toasted pumpkin. Medium light body. Medium light sweetness, low bitterness. Nice mouth feel. Typical pumpkin beer with a lot of spices. This is pretty ok. There’s some citrus, plenty of caramel, and doesn’t taste too fake. A little twangy. Fine.

12oz bottle - brought by friend. Poured a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was pumpkin pie notes, but a bit more heavy on the pumpkin side - which was nice. Cinnamon and some nutmeg in there. Flavor was about the same, like a sweet pumpkin pie. Decent.

Bottle from Bo Brooks’ Lighthouse Liquors, Baltimore. Deep copper in colour, with an off-white head. Big cinnamon notes, toasted pumpkin and caramel, with a fairly gentle finish. Good.

Pour is a hazy amber with a small tan head. Aroma is cinnamon and other fall spices. Flavor is cinnamon, pumpkin and nutmeg not to the extreme due to its age, but it was a bargain bin pick up. Finish leaves that nice pumpkin pie spice and sweetness on the tongue. This is well past it best by date but it is still drinking well. Plenty of spice.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, Fall 2013 bottling. Pours lightly hazy orange copper color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread, toast, clove, brown sugar, toffee, light vanilla, and toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of pumpkin, spice, and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread, toast, clove, brown sugar, toffee, light vanilla, and toasted earthiness. Lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread, toast, clove, brown sugar, and light toffee on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and complexity of malt, spice, and pumpkin notes; with decent flavor robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very good pumpkin ale. Lacking some robustness of flavors; but has very well balanced flavors and is a nicely enjoyable pumpkin ale offering.
