Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a medium red-brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was lightly malty with strong notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was lightly malty and a bit tangy with overwhelming notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, Dryish overall. Too spicy for my taste.

Very large head is frothy and collapses fairly quickly to cover, and eventually ring, leaving moderate lacing. Clear, filtered and a chestnut-auburn color to the body, with a beige-yellow head.
Pumpkin spices in the nose are diffused by strong, creamy pale malt sugars that slowly mix with caramel malts to produce a rather sweet, sticky nose ripe with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Pretty low on the clove, thankfully and without hardly any spicy astringency. More like pumpkin pie-flavored iced cream than actual pumpkin pie. Medium strength of aroma, with some light breadiness and hardness noted on the finish, no doubt from the medium malts and filtration. Some light alcohol vapors noted, as usual, from this horrible brewer.
Significantly sweeter in the flavor, with vanilla and sweet cream being laced fully with cinnamon and allspice. Light, peppery hops almost evade detection, while there is a lightly vegetal, pumpkin meat-like flavor (at least I’ll pass it off as that, it might very well actually be DMS). What’s best about the beer is that as it warms and breathes, the caramel malt deepens in to a very sweet, but not overbearing, toffee flavor with very light toastiness and almost a hint of acidity. Way too much carbonation, though, as usual, makes it difficult to enjoy and the overall texture is very showing of the filtration, being slightly watery on the end. Some light alcohol vapors noted.
No doubt the score is extremely overinflated due to the name on the bottle.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon. Medium body, quite dry with distinct cinnamon flavours. Rather hoppy finish. 011206

A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of pumpkin and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with a very perfumated pumpkin note - I find it a bit too perfumated. And the body is a bit weak.

Pours blood orange into a shaker. Mounding off-orange micro head leaves spots of lacing as it slowly recedes. Pumpkin pie aromas. Dry with understated pumpkin flavor and roasted malts upfront and a lasting bitter spice finish.

Dark reddish-brown body with a thin tan head. Sweet nutmeg aroma. Sweet pumpkin flavor with some spice, particularly nutmeg.

This finally came in at the local store - aroma of pumpkin pie mix, some earthy, vegetable qualities, and an almost off-putting smell that I can only describe as "scented candles" - quite light and refreshing for a pumpkin beer - slight sour/bitterness, followed by a mild cinnamon/sugar taste, then the expected spices: nutmeg, cardamon, etc. - a hint of ginger comes through in the end, mingling with a biscuity driness that creates a gingerbread-like finish, which is a nice touch - still fairly subtle, even with all of the apparent ingredients - nicely done, for the most part.

Bomber poured into a Duvel glass. Amber color and small head. Aroma is present with mainly spices more so than pumpkin. Taste is not so pumpkin heavy as many of the other pumpkin beers, which to me is nice b/c I am not a big fan of pumpkins. As it warms up a sweetness seems to emerge.Low bitterness, average mouthfeel. Leaves a malty spiced mild aftertaste.
