Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw. The flavor is acidic malty with notes of caramel and plastic - yuk - is the malt from Samsø? Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle. A murky brown beer with a small and diminishing beige head. Dried fruits, some fresh fruits, a faint acidic note and caramel sweetness in the aroma. The flavor is acidic and sugary-sweet, with caramel, some roasted malt and a little bitterness. Medium body, slighlty sticky, effervescent and a bit warming. Alcohol, sweetness, some dried fruits and bitterness in the finish. Probably a decent beer when fresh, but now it’s definately on it’s way to go bad. And there’s several months left of the BB-date. (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy, reddish amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Fruity aroma with a little yeast. Medium body, very low in carbonation, very fruity - almost Sherry-like - with a very subdued bitterness. One of the more drinkable beers from Fjorden. 040408

Brown with a small tan head. Rich aroma with dry fruit, licorice and roast malt. Sweet malty flavour with a rough edge of roast malt. Surprisingly good given the reputation.
