Draft at Bar Gernika. Clear, mahogany pour, ring of fine bubbles. Malty aroma, sweet, caramel. Taste is sweet, malty, leather, toffee, with a hint of the ABV lingering

On tap at Bar Gernika. Clear deep reddish amber. Straight forward “ Normal” BW. Somewhat English in flavors but American strength. Classic toasted malts and subtle pineyness. Flavors are a little “hot” or spicy, like a touch of rye maybe: I suspect this will fade and smooth out after a while. I hope they squirrel away some of this and bring it out next winter. Very good.
