Cask @ The Royal Oak, Capel-le-Ferne. Clear dark red with a small but lovely-looking creamy white/beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, malts, bread, red berries and some chocolate. Taste follows aroma plus toffee and notes of lemons. Low bitterness. Low carbonation.Thin mouthfeel. Ok.

Smooth decent mild ale. Not to watery as some of them are
Dark and almost black color with thick creamy off white head. Mild and mellow aroma. Medium (light) and creamy body. Soft carbonation. Mellow sweetness and a mild bitterness. Toffee, some cold coffee and a bit bready flavor.

Not completely black, has a slight red glow. Maintains a thick creamy head but without much flavour below it. Relatively smooth to drink.

Cask at Our Mutual Friend, Stevenage, described as Theakston Dark Mild. Deep chestnut with a tight beige head; nutty aroma; thin but with powerful earthy and nutty malts, becoming slightly sweeter, then some light hops before a bready finish. A full bodied mild.
