Full flavoured amber bitter celebrating three English varieties of hops. One of the original core Elland beers and still popular today when it makes an appearance. One of Mr Protz 300 and at a time when Gyle 3,000 is about to fall on the Mash Tun floor. The perfect Yorkshire session ale.

Cask, half-pint shared with Finn at The Market Porter. Clear copper coloured body topped by a bubbly, white head. Herbs, almond and mid-sweet malts to the nose. Plain malty flavoured taste, hints of almond. Malt-fruity, bitter tail. Does not feel thin on the swallow. Quite nice (London, 04.11.2012).
