Long, long ago when the black wizard last opened his magical book of sorcery, a frail piece of paper fell out. Buried deep in the lost caverns, that paper should have found its end there, together with the spirit of its keeper. But, by fate - or something else - this never happened. Once the wind made it through a narrow space and caught the paper, its journey began. It traveled the world, visited places where the best ingredients grow and encountered many gifted people in its path.
And then it reached us. We need to be honest here: we got lucky, real lucky. Finding this recipe was close to a mere walk in the park because actually, it found us.
We did our best to dust it off and decipher the sophisticated writing. Once we grasped the meaning, we held it close to our chests, grudging that we were about to share it.
But heck, we love you guys, so here it is: The Black Pot.
This bold, pitch black, viscous liquid is a statement of our love. You can surely keep it a buried in a hidden well-cooled place to age. You can enjoy it fresh. It will tell a different story every time.

Bottled at PBF XII, thanks dnicolaescu! Black with small beige head. Aroma of treacle and licorice. Very sweet with full body and dense, oily mouthfeel. Treacle and motor oil. Tar, treacle and licorice. Ammonium lingers in the finish. Heavy handed and brutal.

Bottle at La 100 de Beri, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is complex, with rich roasted malt, piney hops, and some charcoal. Flavour is intense, with medium roasted malt, bitter cocoa, abrasive hops, and some espresso. Robust and complex, with tons of layers. Excellent.
