With our 2019 barleywine we have taken a slightly different approach from previous years. We have done the same poly-gyle as in previous years, and again lead with some of our favourite hops of the year, Simcoe, Mosaic, Ekuanot, El Dorado, Citra, Centennial & Nelson Sauvin.
For 2019 however we have put the barleywine in barrels from our friends at Cuckoo Gin. The barrels were previously home to Cuckoo Sunshine, Spiced & Signature Gin, before that they were used for bourbon. We blended the barrels together to bring the gin, raspberry, spice & bourbon flavours through.
