Bottle from Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a slightly murky dark mahogany colour with a fading tan head. Nose was on the sweet side with dark fruit, christmas cake and peaty notes. Flavour was similar with quite prominent alcohol and barrel. Opened up nicely and a not too shabby bwine.
