Elea is our International Women’s Day 2021 collaboration beer with Ladies that Beer, an open and all inclusive social and education group.
Elea is a Greek goddess, who in ancient Athens was the personification of mercy, clemency, and compassion - the latter of which is this year’s theme.
We have also used a combination Pink Boots hops blend in this beer. Expect flavours of rhubarb, combined with citrus and tropical fruit notes

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Can from the Black Toad. Appearance - deep amber to red and murky. Creamy beige head. Nose - I was getting something plummy before I read the can to find out it was actually rhubarb. Anyway, stewed, jammy fruit/vegetal. Also, an edge of red apple and canned orange. Light resin. Taste - sweet rhubarb and plum. Canned orange again. Palate - light to medium bodied. Quite sweet in the middle with some cleansing on the finish. Overall - decent. A good amount going on and fairly well executed.
