Rum barrel-aged black barleywine on blackberries.
We aged the black barleywine in a cursed dark rum barrel, which quite frankly was a lot more trouble than it was worth, then when it had a lactic sour fermentation, we packed it with blackberries like you asked... Yarr.

The brethren provideth. A murky pondwater brown. Lively head shoots its load and promptly disappears. Aroma is sour, boozy, but with a malty dark doughy core. The flava also had a sour start. Bitter. Rum. Vinous. Almost tanin. Underlying fruit. A hint of molasses. It's certainly sour, although there is a counterpoint to it that provides some restraint. A closing boozy warth. Light. Surprisingly thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable Sour... Barley Wine combo.
