Bottle: Piney and resin aroma with florals and grapefruit. Some malty sweetness. Golden amber color with a creamy beige head. Soft on the palate, but flavorful with floral hops and lingering pine. Finished kind of abrupt. Good, but I had high expectations. Thanks ucusty.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy copper-amber color with a very small yellow- white head and numerous chunks floating within. The aroma was fairly strong pine and resin. The flavor was bitter with moderately strong notes of resin and grapefruit. The finish was notably short.

Bottle [Thanks Phil_L]. Unclear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft / flat. (151207)

Amber color. Light hoppy aroma. The body is thin, quite dry, with some caramel flavor, but at least with a quite good hopping. A hop brew (like Sigtuna, in Sweden).

Bottled (thanks Phil_L!). Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is mild US hops with some slight fruityness and caramel. Flavour is mainly hops only. Quite standard US IPA.

Bottle Kerstbierfestival 2007, brought by Phil_L. Poured a golden color with a white lacy head. The aroma is hops and piney. The taste is a bit of a let down with just mild hoppiness. Still a good beer to reach 1100 ratings.

12 fl oz bottle, thanks to Phil_L. Pours golden orange with a lacing white head. Pine and orange fruity aroma. Solid caramel malt base beneath. Flavour is ice-tea like without sugar, dry peachy and no malt at all. Nice but lacks some depth. Bitter fruity finish.

Draft. Hops, as promised, dominate this beer and the nose outshines the flavor. Copper body and small beige head. Cloudy. The aroma is full of citrus, especially grapefruit and orange. Hints of pine and some flowers. Flavor is heavily bitter and lightly sweet. Very dry finish. Very little maltiness to get behind the bitterness. Medium body, somewhat chewy and somewhat sticky. Long lasting.

On tap at the Bocktown in Robinson shopping complex, nice place. IPA, IPA why are tho so offensive? Slightly fruity and hoppy floral aroma. You know you are going to get a hop wallop with this before you taste it. I’m puckering already! The color is just slightly darker than the ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. First taste is oppressive grapefruit rind bitterness. Really hoppy, as usual, for this style. Pretty much your typical IPA in its manners. Too much for my girlie taste buds, really mows them over. Medium carbonation. Finish is long lingering medicinal bitterness, just like IPA lovers like. IPA lovers will savor this stuff. I recently had this in a bottle and It is less IPA than I felt at the Bocktowns tap. I thought the bottle had more ffruit in it.
