Pours gold with a nice pillowy tan head. The aroma is a nice dose of floral hops with a hint of pine hops hiding in the back. The first sip comes off as a yummy IPA. Upon more sips the flavor profile becomes more apparent with floral hops that seem to be on the wet side. Running through the flavor fields of hops is a stream of crystal type malts trickling through.

bottle - Pours hazy copper with a thin head. There’s a nice citrus and pine hop aroma. The citrus hop flavor is held up by a medium body with a good malt balance. A long, hoppy finish completes this quality example of an IPA.

Bottle from cpkschubert who must have gotten it from kokostephi. Thanks both of you! Nose of citrus hops; amber with a very slight head; has lemony flavor with hop bitterness that lasts to the finish in a light-medium body.

12oz Bottle Pours out a copper topped with a small white head. Aroma of a old paper. Very littler hop aroma. A nice tast. Thanks Pinkzambia for this one.

Bottle pours a hazy deep copper color. Decent off white sandy colored head. Aroma is a sweet caramel slightly hoppy note. A bit woody and of brown paper. Flavor was wody and fairly bitter. Spicy leafy hop notes and not much of the citrusy flavors. Long lasting harsh bitter bite and a moderate feel. Soft carbonation. Thanks to Pinkzambia for bringing this back from his travels

Hellomynameis put it well when he wrote this beer is uninteresting. It is a standard pale ale. I don’t believe it has enough hop character to be called an IPA. However, the aroma of smoke was a good surprise. A decent session beer.

Bottle... purchased somewhere in Bloomington. Pours amber brown with a large head. Aromas of bittersweet hops, fruits, roasty malts, and sugar. Flavor is similar. Nice.

Aroma is really nice. Hops, pine, floral and citrus all come through. Appearance isn’t bad... a bit more effervescent than I would have liked. Flavor is pretty good, but waivers a lot, going from bitter to malty to bitter. It doesn’t do this really smoothly, which is a minus, but the flavors are alright, which is a bonus.

Bottled. Nice amber pour with a big fizzy head that leaves some clingies to the side. In the light, the body shows many shades, like a dark center in a frozen beer. Dry hopping is nicely evident, although it’s no longer mentioned on the label. Spicy, peppery and resiny hops. Still a nice bit of biscuit malts in the balance. Sterling example of an American IPA.

Thanks to Jsquire for providing this one! The Mad Hatter pours a bit lighter in color than most IPAs, being a dark yellow under a white head. Pleasant citrusy aroma scented with pine. Smooth pleasant bitterness from start to finish in the flavor. Good solid everyday drinker.
