Light haze on this gold beer. Small white head. Smooth palate, slightly dry. Minerally fine carbonation. Smooth semi dry malt. Hops are bitterish orange peel, dry. Just a touch of fresh orange. Semi dry finish. Peel bitter linger. Smooth and pretty drinkable.

Cask @ Friends of Ham, Leeds. Lovely dark fruity aroma, lip-smacking caramel, toffee, honey, resinous pine & a wondrous wash of bitterness from the hops. Nice to see Summer Wine keeping the bar high here.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como; bb 31-03-14, batch PAC AAA
Hazy amber color with medium sized creamy head. The aroma is moderately fruity and musky. Round mouthfeel; the caramel and toffee flavor is a bit dusty; strong bitterness with powerful hop resins and mild fruity character; long final.
Fresher at first impression, a bit harder later; but still a good beer.

Draught @ Kahdet Kasvot
Yeasty and heavy aroma with resin, fruity hops and yeasty notes. Flavour has yeasty notes, spearmint, some grassy and fruity hops. Also some herbal tones. Not thin or straightforward at all - makes me wonder if this really is just 4%. Not the most typical APA.
