Bottle at Deans impromptu Monday night tasting. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. Poured a slightly hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is rich hop citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a strong floral hop bitter citrus palate and long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lots of flavour here. Really liked this.

Bottle. Nose is light tropical fruits, dough. Taste is tropical fruits, light pine, slight yeast notes. Mouthfeel is too thin. A strangely forgettable beer. Edit re-rated Sept 14. Better mouthfeel and whether it’s me all the bottle but this is a well balanced American Pale

330ml bottle [4.1% abv]. Clear, orangey dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty, bretty aroma, hints of bubblegum, floral notes, barnyard funk, hoppy overtones with a peppermint touch and zesty notes. Taste is bitter hoppy, zesty, spicy yeasty, floral, minimally sweet caramel malty basis. Really, really nice.
