(From old notes, bottle at One Pint on 2008-01-11) At the beginning there was a pleasant taste of hops and lots of malts, even hints roasted ones. The initial taste was unfortunately the best part of this beer. As I drank it more it became a little bit dull one.

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a thin beige head - not really looking like a brown ale. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a light touch of nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and metal, leading to a dry bitter and metallic finish.

Muddy brown coor, small off-white head. Chocolaty, hoppy nose with some toasted malts. Yeasty, American-type hoppy, slightly caramelly brown ale. Decently robust body.A bit similar to Brooklyn Brown Ale, which I had on draught few days earlier.

Co2-schwaches Bier. (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy, orangey brown with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt with a vague acidity. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt and a vague, ashy touch. The finish is dry. 281207

50 cL bottle, thanks to Myrup. Pours hazy brown with a collapsing light brown head. Light hoppy floral aroma with a mild malty note. Flavour holds a solid bitterness mixed in with the roasted malt flavours. Finish is nicely bitter with a persisting mix of fruity hops and caramel/roasted malt flavours.

Bottle. Light light unclear medium amber brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, light notes of pine. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (241107)
