Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 11/12/10. Almost back in colour with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, black coffee and whisky. Big mouth feel, with a coating of chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruit and a warming, whisky alcohol finish. Tasted like a beer with whisky added rather than fully integrated, so no Ola Dubh, but a decent winter warmer nonetheless. Good.
