A traditional German-style Schwarzbier (black beer) brewed with Californian malt from Admiral, German Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, and a long, cold traditional lager fermentation with our house German lager yeast. Malty with light cocoa and toast accents, yet surprisingly balanced and refreshing.

Tap at Pangea. Pours dark brown with a beautiful creamy near white head. Cocoa aroma. Dry and nicely bitter. Cocoa and dark malt. Very nice.
