The bush itself is remarkably hardy and rapidly develops an extensive root system capable of fixing nitrogen. Thus, it is suitable for growth on marginal soils, eventually improving them to where they can support the growth of other plants.

330mL can, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very funky, almost flatulent, with an almost rotting berry character (that’d be the seabuckthorn, I assume), and crisp apple skins. Flavour is dry, modestly tart, and funky, with dry apple skins, plenty of funk, and some tart berries. Much better on the palate than the nose. Well-constructed, with nice complexity. Very good.

355mL can. Pours hazy yellow. Plenty of barnyard funk, apple skins, and some berries on the nose. Flavour is a bit juicier than I was expecting for a dry cider, but certainly not sweet. Nice funk, though not as pungent as the nose. Dry finish. Nice.
