Brutal bitter is a imperial bitter and one of the original hazy beers that dates back more than 20 years. Brewed and dry hopped with 100% Rogue Farms Alluvial hops that exhibit flavors and aromas of peach (no fruit added). The malt adds good structure, some nuttiness and provides a deep golden hue.

0,33l bottle from Alko, Iso-Omena, Espoo. Hazy orange beer with good and quite stable head. Aroma has sweet malts, honey and pine. Taste has malts, sweet honey, pine and hints of fruits. Bitterness is there at the end. Good balance, but not so fruity one.

Bottle, 0.355l. Cloudy copper pour, lots of visible carbonation. One finger frothy off-white head, low to medium retention. Thick lacing on the glass. Caramel malts and pine on the nose, juicy citrus notes. Thin to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Prickly mouthfeel, average texture. Moderately bitter taste. Aroma is nicely balanced between herbal and fruity characters with caramel malt serving as the backbone. Hints of vanilla and pine. Nice juicy citrus aftertaste. Slightly peppery, a bit dry. Mild alcohol presence throughout the finish. Overall, nicely balanced IPA. Refreshing.

(Bottle) Pours hazy amber brown with good slightly off white head. Nice aroma of stone fruit and toffee. Great palate - medium body with good carbonation. Great taste too, and not brutal. There's a very good backbone of sweet toffee malt. This is overlaid but a combination of hop flavours from tangy stone fruit to bitterness. Nicely balanced.
